SHEER Worldwide, a safe space for creative women and non-binary people of color to express and celebrate ourselves authentically features stephanie mei huang in their Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month 4 ARTISTS YOU NEED TO KNOW alongside Jocelyn Tsaih, Stephanie Syjuco and Valery Jung Estabrook.

"Today we're touching on 4 visual artists who are expressing the individuality and connections of human experiences through their work.

Chinese American Interdisciplinary Artist stephanie mei huang (they/she): "Within the first six years of my life, I moved from Wisconsin to Indiana, then to Yokohama, Japan, and to Shanghai, China. Through this diasporic upbringing, my work finds its roots in globalization and the role of cultural fragmentation and displacement in changing perceptions of nationhood, loss, and identity."
