„A characteristic of my work is frailty, not regarding the subject but the relationship between the surfaces that constitute the ensemble of the whole picture.”

Mircea Suciu was born in 1978 in Baia Mare, Romania. He completed his master's degree at the University of Art and Design in Cluj in 2005. Suciu works with the contradiction between abstract and figurative art and combines them in a thick layered and fragmented painting. Not infrequently Suciu integrates and hides, at the same time, the occured experiences within his work, expressing a certain social criticism.
