Following Alex Katz, This is Now, a survey of landscapes going back to the 1980s that opened at the Guggenheim Bilbao in 2015, the Guggenheim Museum in his hometown New York is organizing a career retrospective for Katz's work in 2022. The artist, whose distinctive style features stark figurative painting and stylized landscapes, will also be included in Pulpo Gallery's show Portraits: 1962 - 2017, which will run from June 1st to August 31st, 2020.
