PULPO GALLERY has the great pleasure in inviting you to the opening of MY BAD IDEAS, the upcoming solo exhibition of the Chinese artist Gao Hang, on view from September 16th through October 29th, 2022. The opening reception will take place on Friday, September 16th, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
On the occasion of Hang's solo exhibition, the artist will be joining us virtualy at 6.30pm to talk about his exhibition and will be glad to answer your questions.
The aesthetics of Gao Hang's works seem confusing at first. Blurred, distorted motifs are reminiscent of the beginnings of computer graphics. During the heyday of social media and perfection on the Internet, Gao Hang's works hit the zeitgeist in a humorous and at the same time very concrete way.
